Andrew M. Sone, MSW, LISW-CP
Andrew sensed a call to the ministry at a very young age. He strongly believes that a purposeful life is one that glorifies God and takes pleasure in Him.
His varied professional and personal experiences have helped him to hone his clinical skills. Andrew served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1993 to 1997. Upon completing his tour, he began attendance at Valley Forge Christian College majoring in Pastoral Counseling. During his time as an undergraduate, Andrew completed his practicum with Carson Valley Inpatient Program and Northeastern Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Clinic. Andrew went on to get his master’s degree in social work at West Chester University and utilized his place of employment to fulfill his practicum; Parole Agent Mental Health Unit Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Parole Board. Upon graduating with his master’s degree, Andrew worked as a Sexual Violent Predator Investigator (SVP) for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Sex Offender Assessment Board. He later retired from his position as SVP and since, has moved to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. He currently holds a LCSW through the state of Georgia, Florida, and LISW CP in the state of South Carolina. His area of practice focuses on the extensive use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychoanalysis.
Andrew is married to his loving wife for 16 years. They have 2 daughters, one planning to attend the Salvation Army College and the other currently in high school. Andrew enjoys utilizing his down time studying Reformed doctrine, Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology, and practicing boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
