Jan Filipow, LPC
After working as a registered nurse in her husband's office for 21 years, Jan felt convinced that God had another plan for her to pursue. Soon afterwards, upon working part-time in her home church office, she felt God tugging at her heart to obtain a degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary. And the rest is history!
"I have been amazed at the incredible struggles that people have endured- how their lives have been transformed to healing and wholeness by someone caring enough to come along side them and assist them in being all they were created to be." Counseling is indeed a privilege, to which some have been called. It certainly has been an honor to speak truth into the lives of others, and to give them the future and hope they have been seeking.
Jan has also conducted "Transformation Prayer" small groups through First United Methodist Church in Newark, Ohio.

"For I know the plans I have for you… to give you a future and a hope."
